She can't keep her mind off him, but she doubts that she will ever see him again. Then she finds out that she is pregnant, and she wants to at least let him know that he is going to be a father. Little does she know that her sexy stranger is a prince and that she has started something that will change both of their lives forever.Â
This book's romance was sweet. It did feel a little insta-lovey at first with the one-night-stand, but then they actually got to know each other later on. They didn't have much intimacy until they got to know each other a lot better later on in the novel.Â
I feel like Max and Noemi's backstories could have definitely been fleshed out a bit more. Max is supposed to be infertile from a childhood illness, but the effects of the illness on his family is not discussed in detail. Max has a random flashback to a time when his family was harassed and almost attacked while on the street by an angry citizen, but the scene is never expanded upon. Noemi talks about having a long lost brother, but this isn't discussed. The main point of the story is about Max and Noemi's growing immediate family, but I would have enjoyed a bit more expansion on these side storylines.Â
Other than that, I had no issues with the book! The plot moved smoothly and I finished the book in a few hours, and the characters were all very interesting to learn about. I even liked how the story ended, and the little epilogue was adorable. This was definitely a sweet Christmas romance novel! I will definitely be picking up the next book in the Cattaneos' Christmas Miracles series.Â
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a new holiday romance novel.Â
I received an advance copy of this book and this is my voluntary review. - Heiress’s Royal Baby Bombshell is book two of the Cattaneos’ Christmas Miracles trilogy. I’ve read the first two books and am looking forward to the third. Although it is a standalone – and a wonderful holiday read all on its own – there is an overall story arc that ties the books together. No worries, though; HRBB tells its own story so you will not be lost.
In true holiday fashion, we are whisked away to the Swiss Alps where we get to suspend, at least for me, our everyday lives to spend it with the glamourous and wealthy. Noemi Cattaneo and Crown Prince Maximillian Steiner-Wolf (Max, for short) meet up for a second chance meeting that stuns them both.
Sometimes it is hard to identify with problems of the rich and famous however both Noemi and Max are dealing with horrific tragedies in their pasts, that we can all identify with, and it colors all that they are in present day. I liked both these characters and loved how they learned to trust one another so that they could live for their futures – separate and together. I won’t say anything about the plot of the story because there are little pieces that make the whole and it will be much more enjoyable to read how the author wove the story rather than my giving spoilers. My heart went out to Max, and some of his family, but you’ll have to read about them to decide for yourself who came across as a “typical†stereotype; made me smile and remember... Noemi’s character just kept getting slapped upside the head with life happening to and around her but even when she was acting a bit like a spoiled heiress, she was lovable.
The ending made me smile and **sigh** because it was a wonderfully sweet holiday wrap up. I also had a thought that cracked me up but if I put it in my review, it may be a spoiler. Know that it was a terrific read, great book two, and I can’t wait to read about the Cattaneos in book three. - Another page turned by Jennifer Faye! This is the second book in the Cattaneo's Christmas Miracles series and is Noemi's story. Noemi meets Max at a party and after spending one night together, decide to only give each other their first names. Fast forward three months and her world is falling apart. Her parents are dead, she has a new brother she never knew existed, and she's pregnant. She has no idea how to get in touch with Max. She is at home in Mont Coeur and decides to get some new clothes that fit. She literally runs into Max while shopping. Now, they are both happy to see each other, but Max is not just Max, he is Crown Prince Maximiian Steiner-Wolf of Ostania! They have dinner and she tells him she is pregnant with his child and he tells her it can't be his and she tells him she's not a liar, the baby is his. He tells her that because of a childhood illness, he was told he probably would never be able to have children. He talks her into going home with him so they can work some things out, get to know each other better, and with this news he could possibly be made the successor to the crown. The time in Ostania is good as they get to know each other more, but other things factor into Max's. When Noemi overhears and misunderstands a conversation, she goes home to Mont Coeur. Will Max and Noemi realise their love is strong enough to overcome anything. There is a wonderful surprise at the end you will love!
